UPDATE  -     APRIL 2005

Landfoam's patent #5,015,312 has been sublicensed by Solidimension,  through Kira Corporation   [ refer to http://solidimension.com/ ] .  This technology will be utilized in the new  InVision™ LD 3-D Printer manufactured by Solidimension and sold in the US by 3D Systems, Inc.  [refer to  http://www.3dsystems.com/newsevents/newsreleases/pr-Apr_6_2005.asp

This thin-sheet lamination method also has the potential to incorporate full 3-d color.  It is likely to take a few years, however, before it is fully developed and commercialized.
